Fifth Harmony

We love Fifth Harmony on Fun Kids – the UK’s children’s radio station!

Filth Harmony are a US pop girl group!

The girls are called Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane Hansen and Camila Cabello.

Fifth Harmony were formed on The X Factor USA in 2012. The girls all auditioned separately and were put together later by the judges on the show – just like what happened with One Direction!

The group were first named The Lylas (which means love you like a sister) but there was already a band with this name! They were then renamed 1432 (which means I love you too) but Simon was not a fan of the name so the general public then voted for the name Fifth Harmony!

Fifth Harmony came in third place on The X Factor and were then signed to Simon Cowell’s music label, Syco.

In 2013 Fifth Harmony released Better Together, which got to Number 6 on the US charts!

Demi Lovato chose Fifth Harmony as one of her opening acts for her Neon Lights Tour in 2014 and the group have been praised by Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande!
