Alex’s Blog: Cat Vs Dog World Cup Predictions – The results!

Cat-Vs-Dog-World-Cup-Predictions (1)

After more than 4 weeks of football and a massive 64 matches, the World Cup has drawn to a close.

It’s also the end of our Fun Kids Cat Vs Dog Prediction videos between Peanut the Kitten and Nancy the Bulldog.

It was an incredible championship, with both dog and cat playing fair at all times. Neither player had a favourite team. In fact, they are both black and white – in celebration of the football itself.

And who would have thought that the only ‘biting’ controversy in the World Cup would have been between human players and not the animal ones?

Peanut was immense in the first 2 rounds, correctly predicting 5 of the 8 group winners and 7 of the 8 second round winners. But Nancy stayed cool and, unlike Brazil in the semi-final, kept her nerve.

There were 77 points up for grabs for each player, including a massive 10 points for predicting the championship winner.

It all came down to the last match. Nancy had chosen Argentina and Peanut had picked Germany. If Argentina had won, Nancy would have been victorious, but luckily for the 4-month old kitten, Germany scored deep in extra time.

The final scores for Cat Vs Dog were Peanut 51 – 32 Nancy!

If there is anything you would like predicting, let us know and we’ll get Peanut and Nancy on to it!
