This is Casper, the Plymouth cat that commuted regularly by bus
Casper worked out the best way to spend his day – he used to queue in order with other passengers to get the number three service from his home in Plymouth for months – human, human, cat, human. He would sit in the queue and then quietly pad on board and curl up on a seat for the ride.
He became so well-known user of the bus service that its drivers knew where to let him off!!
Casper was a rescue cat with a big free spirit, and his owner, Mrs Finden, named him after Casper the Friendly Ghost, because of his habit of wandering off.
Unfortunatley, Casper died earlier this week and many will miss his appearance on the bus.
