You have heard about the Cat in the Hat, well what about the Cat in the Tin?
This rescue cat got its head wedged in a tin of cat food
It is thought the cat may have been scavenging for food when it became stuck in the empty can. It then wandered into a rescue centre in Fife, Scotland with the tin can still stuck on its head. Staff are still wondering how it made it to them without being knocked down.
The tin can was carefully removed and the cat was given a thorough check over.
Colin Seddon, Scottish Wildlife Rescue Centre manager, said: “Luckily no damage was done and the little cat was very pleased to be freed from the discomfort that comes with having your head stuck inside a tin can. We think it’s likely that she was scavenging and came across this discarded tin of cat food. She may have got the can stuck on her head and then became disorientated, it’s lucky she wasn’t hit by a car.”
Remember not to throw your empty tin cans, or any rubbish, on the street. Always pop it into a bin. Otherwise pets and other animals may well suffer
