Meet the Pea-Size Frog!

borneo-tiny-pea-sized-frog-penny_25009_600x450We all know the saying that it’s a ‘small world’, but we reckon that the world must seem pretty big to this little frog!

Originally mistaken as just baby frogs, it has recently been discovered that this frog is actually it’s full-size. That makes it one of the smallest frogs in the world, measuring no more than 13mm long.

Found in rain forests in Malaysia, t’s official name is Microhyla nepenthicola, but for all us regular people it has been nicknamed the ‘Pea-Size Frog’.
