So I’m out on tour with The Croods as part of Belt Up Week and here’s today’s blog!
If you haven’t seen The Croods it stars super-safe dad – Grug – and his prehistoric family! And because The Croods know how to stay safe, they’ve teamed up with charity Brake for ‘Belt Up Week’ from 9th-13th December. Schools across the country will be learning about how to stay safe on the roads with The Croods and The Croods Cross Code.
And today I got a first look at The Croods bus that we’re traveling round the country in this week. It’s pretty big and colourful! Check it out!
So this morning I presented the first Belt Up Week assembly at Rokesly Infant School in London. We showed off some clips from the film and taught some really important parts of road safety. For example, did you know that seat belts have saved 50 million lives in the last 30 years? How amazing is that? That’s why they’re so important.
Also, I even let everyone meet Belt from The Croods and managed to get a selfy with the fury little sloth as well! He’s much bigger than he looks in the film and seeing him try to squeeze through the bus doors was amazing! Now he’s on though, he won’t stop with his Dun Dun Dunnnnnnning. He’ll get tired before the end of the tour. Won’t he?
There’ll be more blogs from the tour all through this week, so make sure you check back to funkidslive.com
