Zoom

Zoom2.ashx_Hi, it’s Zoom here from Birmingham Airport!

And I’ve been keeping track of all of your adventures!

When I’m not hanging out in the Sky Zone, I’m jetting off around the world – exploring some of the amazing places you can visit flying from Birmingham Airport!

I’ve seen so many countries and cities it’s hard to keep track of them all – so it’s lucky I’ve got my trusty scrapbook!

And it looks like you’ve been creating your very own scrapbook entries on your adventures at home or abroad too.

Here are your scrapbook entries from Spain and the Spanish Islands!

The Carribbean

caribbean-travel

The Caribbean is a region that consists of the Caribbean Sea, its islands, and the surrounding coasts. The region is southeast of the Gulf of Mexico and the North American mainland, east of Central America, and north of South America.

Summer from Reddict went to the Caribbean!

What I saw was amazing i saw tropical fish when I went snorkeling and clown fish it was awesome. Also i saw a lot of beaches and sunshine and a lot of interesting people and a whole sea because I was travelling on a cruise. I loved it in the airport and walking to the dreamliner because the airport had a lot of interesting views on the way. The dreamliner was cool as well it had a lot of comfort and I was so happy to travel with the dreamliner. I couldn’t ask for a better plane! I also did a few things like visiting the lovely beaches and snorkeling in the sea with the sea creatures! And I went swimming alot on the boat the pool was huge and amazing. My best bit was probably ALL OF IT!

Cuba

cuba

Cuba is an Island in the Carribbean. It’s capital, Havana, is really bright and colourful, with different coloured cars, houses and buildings.

Holly from Leigh-on-Sea went to Cuba!

We saw geckos and lots of shiny silver fish when we went swimming. I learnt to snorkel and saw lots of coloured fish, mostly yellow and blue . The best bit was swimming with dolphins but I also really enjoyed a sunset cruise on a catamaran.

So did Samantha from Birmingham!

It was amazing very close to the airport which we love we loved the service and staff were friendly the beach was the fun part the sea was a beautiful blue and the 5 star hotel was so fancy we could just get our stuff from Oldbury, Sandwell and can just move there!

Antigua

Antigua is a southern Caribbean island. it’s aslo known as Waladi or Waladli by the locals. It has beautiful long beaches, holiday resorts and of course, lots of sunny weather!

Holly went to Antigua!

Lots of different wildlife to what I’ve seen in England, like Bananaquits and Gray Kingbirds. I did lots of swimming in the sea and swimming pool as well as paddle boarding and kayaking. One of the best bits was having ice cream nearly every single day.

Dominican Republic

The Dominican Republic is a country that shares the eastern half of the island of Hispaniola, with Haiti to the west. It has sandy beaches, holiday resorts, rainforests, mountains, savannas, and lots of history. It’s also the home of merengue dancing!

Poppy from Luton went to the Dominican Republic!

We saw the beach where they recorded the Jurassic park film as well as a museum with lots of amber. we went on the beach alot and i spent alot of time in the pool. We also went into a local village and visited a school. the best bit was the weather as it was very hot but we also saw some amazing thundertorms.
