If you’re looking for a fun, exciting day out this week then head down to Trafalgar Square for the return of Africa Day.
Celebrating the contribution to London of all the African peoples that have made it their home, this is a free one day event that encourages Londoners from all backgrounds to celebrate and enjoy the cultural richness of the continent.
There will be arts, music, dance and crafts to keep you entertained, including live performances that vary from traditional songs to more modern tunes.
There’ll also be fashion shows and exhibitions showcasing the best in African arts and crafts.
And if all the excitement makes you hangry, then browse the market stalls for authentic African food and drink.
