anansiCelebrate Black History Month by exploring the fantastic world of Anansi the Spider Man.

Anansi (pronunciation Ah-nahn-see) the trickster is a cunning and intelligent spider, who often acts and appears as a man. He is one of the most important characters of West African and Caribbean folklore and his stories are famous worldwide.

Discover‘s Story Builders will tell the tale of how Anansi created his stories. Then join in with a sing-a-long and mask making.

Discover is the UK’s first hands-on centre focusing exclusively on creativity through projects, exhibits and activities exploring words, language and imagination.

This event is suitable for children aged 3 and over.
