London 2010: Festival of Stamps is a year long celebration of stamps, stamp design and postal heritage.
The Festival also marks the centenary of the accession of George V, the philatelist king.

The British Library will be showing significant items in its very special exhibition ‘The British Library Philatelic Rarities’.

This small display looks at the images of Africa presented on the coins, banknotes, medals, stamps and seals made for the continent during the past 100 years.
