FREE ART FUN FESTIVAL
OPENING NIGHT – 5 APRIL

10.30 – 17.00
The V&A will celebrate the opening of the Theatre & Performance galleries with a day of free events and activities.
Visitors will be able to design their own headdress inspired by costumes from the collection, create designs for a record cover in the digital studio of the Sackler Centre and watch a theatre rehearsal.

DROP-IN DESIGN SPECIAL
HEADS UP! – 6 to 10 and 13 to 17 APRIL

10.30 – 13.00 AND 14.00 – 17.00
A family workshop for children to create their own headdress inspired by costumes on display in the new galleries.

FREE ART FUN
Families can pick up an activity Back-Pack, get creative at Drop-in-Design or go on a gallery adventure trail.  Packs are filled with jigsaws, stories and games to explore the collection.

Activity Cart: Fantastic hands-on art fun for children to create a Samurai helmet, a silver goblet or an elephant mask to take home.

FREE, drop-in, suitable for children aged 4 to 11

GENERAL INFORMATION
The V&A is open daily 10.00 – 17.45 and until 22.00 on Fridays.
