Childrens’ activity days involve a range of fun learning activities for children aged 6 – 12.
The activities vary but always include the opportunity for a short boat trip on the Regent’s Canal.
This year there will be a treasure trail around the museum, ice cream making and opportunities to work with an artist on the first two Tuesdays. Other activities will be arranged on different days, including making plaques, model boats, colouring etc.
There are short boat trips on the Regent’s Canal and also Henrietta’s Museum Trail, a fun way to explore the museum discovering interesting things with Henrietta. Henrietta, by the way, is our horse.
Children can also make models of our tug Bantam 4, build a bridge in our children’s Activity Zone, and there will be a number of other interesting activities each week such as painting plates in traditional style, making cardboard models, and more.
