Compost Awareness Week is all about learning how to make a difference with compost.
We can do that by composting our own household kitchen and garden waste or making the ‘Greener Choice’ of peat-free composts containing recycled materials.
This year Recycle Now will be encouraging people to put their compost to good use by trying their hand at growing their own fruit and vegetables. There will be lots of events and activities taking place throughout the week for everyone – from the expert to the novice gardener, or even those of us who simply love good-tasting, great value food!
