Have some fun this half term and learn something new at The Household Cavalry Museum:
Saturday 9 April – Monday 25 April
Join a cracking Easter Trail around the museum and discover more about the Household Cavalry and our famous black horses. Successfully complete the trail and claim your small Easter Egg prize.
Monday 11 April – Friday 14 April at 11.30am
Come and learn more about the horses, troopers and history of The Household Cavalry Regiment while you enjoy making something special to take home with you. Activities include making Easter Candles, cards and planting seeds. Suitable for children aged 5 – 11 years. Children taking part in the sessions are free with an accompanying paying adult, although a small charge will be made towards the cost of materials.
Sessions last for about 45 minutes
Tuesday 12 April at 2.15pm
Hear the true life Cinderella story of Cicero the Household Cavalry drum horse who was originally spotted by Queen Elizabeth II pulling a milk float on the streets of Edinburgh. Suitable for 5-10 years olds. Running time: approx 45 minutes.
