Duck into spring this Easter with inventive and fun activities.
You can meet the newly hatched ducklings as they take their first swim, see what else is in the ponds, go on an Easter trail or just enjoy a springtime walk.
Here’s what’s coming up every day this Easter:
The Great Egg Hunt
Put your sleuthing hat on and hunt down the pretend eggs that we’ve hidden around the centre.
Choose between the standard egg hunt and the special, fiendishly difficult trail to stretch your wits.
Trail sheet available from admissions. £1 per person. One prize per completed trail.
11.00 – 11.30, 2 – 2.30 Interactive duckling show
Go on a journey to Madagascar as we find out how WWT is saving the rare Madagascar Pochard.
An interactive show featuring thrills, spills and a chance to see the brood of domestic ducklings take their first swim. Outside the Yurt.
12.00 – 12.30, 3 – 3.30 Pond dipping
Use a net to find out what animals live in the pond. Pond zone
