Hands On Family Workshops
Explore a different theme each weekend through handling Museum objects. Sessions start with a short introductory talk.

Hands On Africa

Explore the natural environment and world around us with fun-filled activities inspired by our collections, Gardens and Nature Trail.

Bug Behaviour and Nature Walk

Chick Chick Chicken!

Come and discover some amazing facts about chicks, hens and roosters this Easter, make a special pop up chick card and join us for a sing song dedicated to chickens!

Can You Stroke a Goldfish?

What makes worms squirm and fish swim? Explore animal classification and movement through looking at live animals, mime and model-making.
