Hands On Family Workshops
Explore a different theme each weekend through handling Museum objects. Sessions start with a short introductory talk.

Hands On Africa
Sat 16: 11 – 11.45am, 12.15 – 1pm, 2 – 2.45pm and 3.15 – 4pm

Family Tours with the Hornimans

Find out what Miss Horniman thinks of her father’s museum, and meet the man himself for a special tour of the fabulous collection.

Nature Explorers
Explore the natural environment and world around us with fun-filled activities inspired by our collections, Gardens and Nature Trail.

Bug Behaviour and Nature Walk
Mon 25 2–3.30pm
Investigate bug behaviour and find them in the wild in the Horniman Gardens and Nature Trail.
Dutch Barn, Gardens, Nature Trail Free admission
For families with children aged 7+.

Spring Butterfly Mobiles
Thurs 28 11.30am– 12.30pm,
1.15 – 2.15pm and 3 – 4pm
Create a pretty butterfly mobile and join a circle time to share songs, stories and finger games.

A Fishy Tale!

Come and hear a story about a very special fish and make an amazing miniature aquarium. Sing some fishy songs and a special sea shanty.
