|January 13, 2014||to||January 31, 2014|
BFI Southbank are always putting on great family fun events where you can see iconic films, take part in Q&As and lots more!
In January there’s two family fun events for you to check out.
The film follows a family down on their luck who are given the chance to look after a country mansion by the mysterious Mr Blunden. And so they set off to start a new life, ignoring rumours that the house may be haunted!
As well as the screening, the BFI will be hosting a Q&A with two of the actors, Madeline Smith and Rosalyn Landor!
Filmed in 1921, it stars Charlie Chaplin’s most memorable on-screen character, The Little Tramp, where he causes chaos at a smart golf resort when he’s mistaken for a wealthy businessman.
The film will be accompanied by a live soundtrack from some of Britain’s brightest young ragtime musicians. And before the film, take part in The School of Slapstick Funday in the Foyer from 11am!
