Family Workshop: Cabinets of Curiosity @ Somerset House (2 April)

somerset-house-kidEvery Saturday from 14.00-15.30, Somerset House‘s regular Free Family Workshops invite families to be creative and learn together.

Explore Somerset House, The Courtauld Gallery, Embankment Galleries and their events through a range of activities from painting and model-making to fashion design and animation.

Each workshop is designed to inspire and encourage, to spark fresh activities to try at home.

This week explore the showy furniture designs of John Makepeace on display in the Terrace Rooms, and then create your own wild and wonderful cabinets of delight.

Event Information:

Children aged 6-12 years and their families are warmly welcomed at these free Saturday workshops.

Workshops begin at 14.00, it takes an hour and a half to complete the activity.

How to take part
Collect your free ticket at 13.00 on the day from the Information Desk in the Seamen’s Hall. Spaces limited, so tickets are allocated on a first come first served basis. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
