Spend the day together as a family… If you’re looking for something fun and free for all the family to do during February half term then come along to Museum of London for a great day out that everyone can enjoy, from under 5s to over 60s! So find out about new beginnings in the city as we move into spring.

Drum making

  • Join Dave a member of our host team and learn about some different types of drum. Then have fun making your own drum out of recycled materials.

Paper cooking

  • Mon 15 Feb
  • 11-11.30am, 12-12.30pm & 2-2.30pm
  • Come and use lots of creative materials to make paper food and exotic dishes from all over the world. Explore real food that you’d find in London today and try to guess where it came from. A hands-on, creative workshop for under 5s and their carers.

Transforming objects

  • Tue 16 & Sat 20 Feb
  • 12.30-3.30pm
  • Discover some of the more unusual objects in our collections and give them a new life using collage and computer animation techniques.

  • Meet Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the great engineer of bridges, ships and much more.

The jester’s dream

  • Join us to hear the story of Rahere, the boy who grew up to start one of the world’s most famous hospitals.
