Especially for Halloween, Freaky Fortnight returns to Mead Open Farm.
Running from 15 to 30 October, it’s packed with spine tingling surprises. In all this year, there are 9 Halloween attractions (with 7 included in entry).
For the extra brave, visit the Haunted Castle with spooky stage sets, ghouls and ghosts or jump aboard the Ghostly Pirate Ship for scary storytime. Whilst for the younger visitors, explore Creepy Tots Corner or visit the ScareCrows in their own special Shack.
Combined with the Phantom Trailer Ride (even scarier after 5pm), pumpkin carving, the Witches Trail with treats for every child and over 3 acres of terrifying corn field fun in the Field of Terror, it’s unlimited Halloween Fun.
Plus daily from 25 until 31 October, young and old can take part in a Halloween Fancy Dress competition at 5pm.
Elsewhere on Mead Open there’s daily hands-on animal fun including pony grooming, rabbit cuddling and cow milking. Whilst inside Shaggy’s PlayWorld there are plenty of huge slides to brave, zig zag net climbers to scramble and fireman poles to descend.
Location: In Billington, just south of Leighton Buzzard. Visitors should follow the brown signs from A505 or A4146.
Please note the pumpkin carving workshop incurs an extra cost to cover the cost of the pumpkin.
