Keep your little ones entertained this half term with a visit to RHS Garden, Hyde Hall. Bring the whole family down for some fun in the garden.
Hop along to the Information Centre and pick up a copy of the “Hyde Hall Hare Trail” – a self guided trail where you can learn all about brown hares. You’ll soon be discovering where hares live, what they like to eat, how fast they can run and why they are different to rabbits. Who knows you might event spot a real hare!
Younger children will also be kept active with our “Garden Treasure Hunt” which gets little ones searching, smelling and feeling different flowers, leaves, trees and seeds.
On Wednesday 27 and Thursday 28 May we’re transforming the garden into a mini-farm – with goats, chickens, ducks, sheep, ponies and lots more. A great way to keep the whole family amused!
Then take a well-earned break in our family friendly restaurant or alternatively pack a picnic and find yourself somewhere in the garden to eat lunch.
If you’ve some got some energy left why not bring along a kite and take advantage of Hyde Hall’s big open spaces and magnificent views of the Essex countryside.
