Get closer to nature during half term at London Zoo with a series of exciting interactive events and talks involving some of the zoo’s most popular residents. With storytelling sessions, predatory bird displays and more to engage young minds, the ZSL London Zoo is encouraging children to learn more about nature and its wonderful animals.
Half term at London Zoo
During the week of half term at London Zoo, visitors have the chance to take advantage of the daily activities that reveal the everyday lives of some of the exotic animals that live in the zoo. Head to the penguin pool at 2pm to watch the black and white birds gobble up their daily allocation of fish, and listen to the keepers as they explain what special care and attention the penguins need.
Animals in Action
The Animals in Action displays are bound to be another highlight for many young visitors during half term at London Zoo. Featuring enormously talented animals that will fly, leap and climb to show off all their skills, the Animals in Action displays start at 12pm every day.
The events for half term at London Zoo are free to attend once in the zoo. Admission is free for children under 3 years old, £12.50 for children aged 3-15, and £15.50 for adults. For more information on the events and ZSL London Zoo, click on the links below.
