Half Term Stories at Kitson Hall (28 May; 10am and 11am)

May 28, 2009

Myths – Legends – Fairy Tales – Pirates – Religious Stories – Traditional Tales – Plus Lots Lots More!

Kids disappointed they’re not going away this half term?  Well at Kitson Hall for one morning only, Victoria Parsons will be leading everyone on a magical journey into their imaginations.

Stories are the soul of our society – filled with magic, wonder and of course many, many lessons.   It is the job of a Storyteller to engage, entertain and educate their audience and leave them with a hunger and thirst for stories.  So whether it is breathing life into some dusty old Greek Myths, freshening up a heard-it-all before Fairy Tale, adding flavour to a Religious Fable or simply telling a good Old Yarn – A live Storyteller can deliver a tale into the imaginations and hearts of it’s audience. What better way to learn?

10am -10.45am
SONGS AND STORIES for 3 to 5 year-olds
Younger audiences will be treated to a mixture of SONGS and STORIES

11am-12 noon
STORIES for 6-12 year-olds
And for the older audiences a mixture of new and traditional STORIES
