It’s December 30 1940 – the height of the Blitz – and London is suffering intensive nightly bombing. Londoners of all ages are flocking to help fight the fires and a training programme is in full swing.

You can find out by popping along to the Imperial War Museum! The Auxiliary Firemen and women were heroes of the war. Find out what they went through and get involved!
