|December 15, 2012|
If you’re a fan of Ice Age, drawing, animation, history – or all of the above! – then there’s an interesting event at the British Museum on 15th December that you should check out.
As a taster to the Museum’s upcoming exhibition Ice Age art: arrival of the modern mind, Young Friends of the British Museum have set up a fun day where you’ll get to grips with some of the woolly Ice Age creatures in an animation workshop, then settle down to a free exclusive DVD screening of Ice Age 4: Continental Drift.
Here’s a bit more info about what you can expect during the day:
Contribute to a prehistoric-themed cartoon! With the help of an illustrator from the Museum, learn to draw ice age animals and contribute to a story of your own making.
Ice Age 4: Continent Drift – DVD Screening
Ice Age is back with a brand new chapter starring our favourite pre-historic herd: Manny, Sid and Diego! As well as family friends of the Ice Age world, the group are joined on their latest adventure by Sid’s long-lost and very funny Granny, plus a band of pirates led by the fearsome orangutan Captain Grutt!
And of course no Ice Age film would be complete without Scratt! Once again he’s back but this time his pursuits will have world-changing consequences!
Loaded with loads of pirate-themed special features, Ice Age 4 will also be available on Triple Play and DVD from 10th December from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment
