As well as there being loads of cool stuff to do families and individuals can save up to 50% by booking online (Book in November and visit in December to receive 50% off all tickets).

Here’s what’s coming up:

Santa Storytime December 10th, 11th, 17th – 24th December

Santa will again be taking residence in the Royal State Rooms with his team of trusty yet mischievous elves ready to keep the children entertained with his tales of the preparations for Christmas.

Merlin: The Dragon Tower – Open Everyday, except Christmas Day

Ensure an extra magical Christmas with a trip to Merlin: The Dragon Tower, based on the popular BBC show. As the current series of Merlin reaches its climax, the castle’s Merlin Dragon Tower will offer unrivalled magic, and for the brave – a brush with the great dragon from Camelot!

Winter Birds of Prey Show – Everyday, except Christmas Day

This Christmas at Warwick you’ll be able to see magical and mythical birds soar through the sky with a winter backdrop. Owls will also be a first this Christmas, where guests can meet the most ethereal of nature’s birds of prey .

See the characters of Christmas past come alive with a selection of tours from bygone eras at the castle. Witness the pagan and mediaeval winter solstice celebrations in Kingmaker or join in the Christmas celebrations of Victorian High Society in Secrets & Scandals. The Great Hall and State Rooms will be magnificently decorated and the fire will be roaring.

The Princess Tower – Open Everyday, except Christmas Day

For little girls a trip to The Princess Tower to make a wish for the wishing tree and watch the preparations for a Winter Royal Wedding

The Castle Dungeon – Open Everyday, except Christmas Day

Warwick Castle even has something for the scrooges in the party as well. A trip to the Dungeon is only for the brave ……….and miserable.

Carols at the Castle

Warwick Castle also ensures the music of Christmas is heard in every corner of the Castle with carol singing, carol singing competitions and host to the Carols at Warwick Castle, organised by the Warwick Rotary Club and now in its 40th year.

The Ultimate Santa, takes his seat for Christmas inviting his junior guests to a morning packed with games and carols and plenty of fun-filled mischief with his team of elves. Little ones will also leave with a surprise Christmas gift.

Winter Torchlit Tours – Every Sunday throughout December (Subject to availability)

After-dark Warwick Castle will truly come alive, offering families and friends a host of magical evenings. The brand new torch-lit guided walks through the grounds will kick off with a festive feast of hot turkey and stuffing rolls, and mince pies served in the castle’s cosy Undercroft. Warming the cockles before the grand tour punchy mulled wine and indulgent hot chocolate will be a welcome Winter warmer. The interactive tour led by colourful characters from the castle’s history will explore the changing traditions and celebrations of Christmas throughout the ages.
