Meet an Antarctic Base Commander @ Natural History Museum (18 March)

March 18, 2012

Antarctica is a beautiful and unique place for scientific study. But what is it really like to live, work and even play down there and what kind of people take on the challenge?

Meet Paul Rose, who worked in Antarctica for 10 years, as he helps bring the Antarctic experience to life here in London.

This event is part of the Nature Live series. From ladybird spotting and dinosaurs to bat winter survival strategies and how nature inspires fashion, these regular Nature Live talks and events are an enjoyable way to explore the natural world.

They are informal and mostly free!
