It is coming up to that time again for one of the most colourful, vibrant and anticipated festivals of the year, the Notting Hill Carnival!
Over Sunday and the Bank holiday Monday at the end of August, this street party sees Caribbean celebrations take over West London with steel drums, dancers and exotic floats.
And for all you families, there is the special Notting Hill Carnival Childrens Day so you don’t miss out on the celebrations!
Notting Hill Carnival Childrens Day happens on the first day of the carnival with families encouraged to join in the fun and festivities in the UK’s biggest street party. On this day, you can enjoy all sorts of fun events, sights and attractions, such as live music, street performances, costume parades and a general carnival spirit!
There will also by numerous family-specific attractions and play areas, kid-based competitions and even places where children can learn about the history and culture that surrounds this festival.
