  • ‘Potions and Lotions’ at the Mary Rose Museum
  • Talk to the apothecary and find out how herbs, lotions and spices were used on board the Mary Rose.

Saturday 16 October

  • 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm
  • Get To Know Nelson on board HMS Victory
  • Crafts and activities on board HMS Victory in celebration of Nelson’s victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.
  • FREE with a valid attraction ticket, all ages welcome

Saturday 16 & Sunday 17 October

  • 11am – 12noon & 2pm – 4pm
  • ‘Spinning a Yarn’
  • Try your hand at Tudor crafts with demonstrations of spinning and weaving by the Portchester Spinners.

  • Monster Mermaids & Sea Serpents at the at the National Museum of the Royal Navy
  • Investigate scary sea monsters and frighten your friends at Halloween with our creepy sea creature masks.
  • FREE drop-in workshop, all ages welcome

Thursday 28 October – Saturday 30 October

  • 11am – 1pm & 2pm – 4pm
  • Vile Victory on board HMS Victory
  • Come aboard if you dare to create skeleton crews and ghostly ghouls down in the murky depths.
  • FREE with a valid attraction ticket, all ages welcome

Friday 29 October, 6.30pm – 8.30pm

  • Tours By Torchlight – A Spooky Evening At The Mary Rose Museum
  • A talk on Maritime Mysteries and a torch lit tour around the Mary Rose Museum, with a few spooky surprises! Hot soup and a roll included.
  • Places are limited, may not be suitable for under 10’s.
  • Adults £12.00 Concessions £8.00 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm
