Ever wondered how they make aliens for TV and the movies? Well, you can make your very own alien and learn first hand about how you go about making an alien, whether you want to make a friendly or scary one!
At the Learning Place, there will be a series of costume-making workshops where you can drop in and make your own alien-inspired costume. You can then show off your creative skills by wearing your very own costume at the Alien Invasion Exhibition at the City Museum, 12.00pm – 2.00pm. Find out more about that event here
Workshops take place on Tuesdays 3, 10 and 17 August from 10am – 12pm. They are free and for all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult.
