The annual Regent Street Festival will take place on Sunday 26 September 2010, full of fantastic music, food and events to entertain both kids and parents. Always a themed event, this year will be no different, with the ‘mile of style’ set to embrace the West End fashion themed month of September – Fashion, Food and Festivals!
Closed to traffic for the entire day, Regent Street, Swallow Street and Heddon Street once again form the location for this festival full of music, dance, art and food!
2009 saw the ska legends Madness perform live at the festival, and this year once again amazing artists and musicans are set to keep the crowds entertained with their spectacular performances of traditional and modern pieces throughout the day. Make sure you keep checking this page for updates on what stars will be turning up!
There is always plenty for the kids to do at this event. Last year there was a special children’s lawn outside Hamleys, featuring face painters, animal characters, balloon artists and a birthday tea party, and more family friendly fun is in the pipeline once again this year.
Surrounded by local restaurants and stalls, there will also be lots of special menus, discount offers and meals for kids on the day of the festival.
