Behind the scenes at the Mary Rose – Glimpse behind the scenes at the Mary Rose. Limited numbers – Booking is essential.

12 & 13 September 10am & 3pm
Tour of Boathouse 6 – find out about the history of Boathouse 6 up to the present day, including Action Stations and InterAction gallery.
FREE – Only 20 spaces per tour, some areas within the tour are not accessible by a lift & must be booked in advance, please contact 023 9283 9766 to reserve a place.

12 & 13 September 1pm
Tour the Dockyard’s Oldest Building – take a guided tour of the Porter’s Lodge (1708), the Historic Dockyard’s oldest building and learn about the life and times of the Porter who unlocked the gate, rang the Muster Bell – and kept a very good cellar!
FREE – Only 12 spaces per tour & must be booked in advance, please contact 023 9283 9766 to reserve a place.

12 & 13 September 11am, 1.30pm & 3pm
Behind the scenes tour at the Royal Naval Museum – join our curators and experts for our popular behind the scenes tour of the Museum buildings and collection stores.
FREE – Only 15 spaces per tour & must be booked in advance, please contact 023 9283 9766 to reserve a place.

12 & 13 September 10.30am, 1pm & 3pm
The Block Mills tour – a rare opportunity to have a guided tour around the world’s first complete steam powered factory with blockmaking machinery invented by Isambard Kingdom Brunel’s father, Marc Brunel.
FREE – Only 25 spaces per tour & all tours must be booked by 12noon on Wednesday 9 September for security purposes.

12 & 13 September 11am, 12noon, 1.30pm & 2.30pm
Super Signals! on board HMS Victory – another special chance to visit the Poop Deck on HMS Victory and find out more about the important role of flag signaling during Georgian Naval battles. This part of the ship is not usually open to the public and offers a totally new way of seeing the ship!
FREE – Only 30 spaces per tour & must be booked in advance, please contact 023 9283 9766 to reserve a place.

All activities listed here are free with a valid attraction ticket and children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
