FESTIVE DECORATIONS
6 DECEMBER 2009: 11.00-16.00

Children can explore the Museum with a digital camera to take images that can be manipulated in Photoshop for use in a festive design. The design will be laminated and made into a decoration to take home.

SPLENDOUR & SPARKLE
28 DECEMBER – 1 JANUARY 2010: 10.30-12.30 & 14.00-17.00

Inspired by the V&A’s major exhibition, ‘Maharaja: The Splendour of India’s Royal Courts’, this workshop allows children to create their own sari and turban accessories.
FREE, DROP IN.

BACK-PACKS
Daily

Families can pick up an activity Back-Pack, get creative at Drop-in-Design or go on a gallery adventure trail.
Back-Pack adventure tours of the V&A: Packs are filled with jigsaws, stories and games to explore the collection.
Activity Cart: Fantastic hands-on art fun for children to create a Samurai helmet, a silver goblet or an elephant mask to take home.
FREE; drop-in. Suitable for children aged 4 to 11.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The V&A is open daily 10.00 – 17.45 and until 22.00 on Fridays.

Over Christmas the museum is closed on 24, 25 and 26 December 2009.

The nearest underground station is South Kensington (Piccadilly, District and Circle lines).
