Celebrate all things Shark this summer and find out why the big bogey man of the ocean is NOT as deadly as we think; of the 490 species, only 12 are dangerous to humans and people are far more likely to eat sharks then sharks are to eat people! Home to five species of spectacular sharks, the Sea Life London Aquarium is the perfect place to find out all about this much maligned sea creature – and throw plenty of family fun into the bargain!
A mix of interactive animal presentations, fun family activities and a big, blue, cuddly Shark will tell you all you need to know about Sharks, their threatened world and how everyone can do a little bit to help make a big change. The SEA LIFE experts will give bite-sized Shark talks everyday and guests can also check out feeding time. Kids will be thrilled to meet Shakey the Shark on his daily personal appearances and there will also be themed face painting, drawing activities and a fun family quick trail uncovering lots of amazing fish facts around the entire aquarium.
And, of course, the shark-tastic finale to a visit to the Sea Life London Aquarium is the chance to take the awesome Shark Walk where guests literally walk over a glass floor above the shark display whilst the residents swim just inches beneath their feet.
Plus there’s a wholeView Post ocean full of fun to discover with thousands of marine creatures from every part of the world.
As well as shark fun in London, a number of other Sea Life centres around the UK will be running themed events and activities in a special Sea Life Shark Week running from 24t-31st July. To find out more log on at www.sealife.co.uk/london
