The Stratford-upon-Avon Festival of Food, on the recreation ground opposite the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, is an unmissable event.
The Festival will be formally opened by The Mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Cllr Jenny Fradgley, at midday on Friday September 25th.
The date for this ever popular event is almost upon us and it promises to be much bigger and better than in previous years. The main “Marketplace” marquee is double the size, accommodating up to 45 exhibitors, and we are aiming for 20 outside food vendors.
There will be opportunities to taste such delicacies as kangaroo burgers, gourmet sausages, handmade botanical chocolates and beautifully decorated cup-cakes. As well as the 40-plus food traders in our Marketplace marquee there will also be a fully fitted kitchen and chefs from our local hotels will be cooking throughout the festival – why not pop in and see what out hotels have to offer and sample the wonderful food being created by their chefs.
Entry is FREE everywhere except for the marquees, where you will need a ticket
