Its the third annual Strawberry Fayre this Sunday at Spitalfields City Farm.
Its a day with an array of traditional British entertainment, including Cricket on the Green, Story telling in the Willow Yurt, traditional dancing and Donkey Rides.
There’s Smoothies, Cakes, Organic Strawberries and Cream, Tea and Coffee available while you enjoy the Farm or bask in the summer sun. There’s also live Bluegrass and Folk music
The event is for all the family, with activities including headband and earring making and face painting.
And tired parents can rest their weary feet in our The Straw Bale Café.
And don’t forget there will be organic strawberry plants for sale during the Strawberry Fayre along with a selection of seasonal vegetables and herbs.
Find hidden strawberries around the farm and exchange it for a prize.
- Lutfun Hussain’s Cooking Demonstration (1pm) – a demonstration on how to make traditional Bangladeshi rice pudding.
- Edible Garden Tour (2.30pm) – takd a tour of the Farms produce.
- Storytelling with Fiona Branson (1pm, 3pm, 4pm) – spaces are limited so please arrive on time.
