Take advantage of the summer and get out to a great summer fair over on Thornton Heath!
There are game stalls, including hoop-a-prize, lucky dip, beat the goalie, hook a duck and the coconut shy. You can go for a jump on the bouncy castle, visit the face painting and henna art, go ten pin bowling, or take part in the balloon race.
And for parents, they can relax in the pamper tent where you’ll get a professional massage for the head, neck, shoulders and feet!
Plus, they have an ongoing textiles recycling fundraiser scheme called Rag-bag where you can exchange a bag of unwanted clothes, belts, shoes, coats, curtains, bed sheets, towels etc to the fair in exchange for a FREE raffle ticket!
And you’ll want that ticket because you could win £100 cash!
The whole event has been organised by a very small group of mums, determined to raise enough money so that the children at David Livingstone can go on school trips in their very own school bus rather than travelling by public transport – a very worthy cause!
So if you fancy a fun day out for the family, make sure you head over!
