January 28, 2011toMarch 19, 2011

Chickenshed’s popular interactive children’s shows Tales From The Shed is back!

chickenshed-tales-of-the-shedStep into a world of music and magicTales from the Shed brings stories, both original and traditional, to life in a land of colour, characters and fun.

This interactive performance for the under 7’s introduces them to a universe where there is not edge to the stage, so children and performers travel a theatrical journey together.

chickenshed-tales-of-the-shed-2Tales from the Shed uses theatre driven by the children’s imaginations.  Since 1996 the Tales team have collected and created numerous stories, songs and characters. These are delivered using puppets, humans and bags of energy all underpinned by the belief that children are the most creative and demanding audience and deserve proper big theatre!

The Tales from the Shed format allows the Tales team to react to the children’s thoughts, experiences and requests and to use them within the show.

No show will ever be the same – so for first time visitors or serial guests – another tale is now beginning!

Tales from the Shed
is part of Chickenshed’s inclusive programme.  It is for all children and shows us a world where everybody can come and share together and not only believe in the magic but make it happen!
