Head to the Free Fringe Festival at The Scoop for the very best in live performances from the left-field.

Step into a world of music and magic – Tales from the Shed, brings stories, both original and traditional, to life in a land of colour, characters and fun.

This interactive performance for the under 7’s introduces you to a universe where there is no edge to the stage, so children and performers travel a theatrical journey together.

The Tales from the Shed format allows the Tales Team to react to the children’s thoughts, experiences and requests and to use them within the show.

No show will ever be the same – so for first time visitors or serial guests – another tale is now beginning!

This hugely popular interactive performance for 0-7 year olds introduces children to a universe where children and performers travel on a theatrical journey together, and on the way, meet characters such as can-can the bird and the crazy thing that goes bleugh… !

Each show is different, but all shows creatively helps to improve literacy, numeracy and communication skills.
