Boat Trip: All aboard the Merrie Thames! Travel from Richmond Landing Stage to Teddington Lock and back. The trip lasts 1 hour. Along the way, our staff will keep you informed and entertained with activity sheets to help spot and record wildlife and river features
Nature Safari: Lasting an hour, we explore the riverside through a ‘pick n mix’ of activities and games including art, minibeast hunting and puzzles.
River Dipping: This 2 hour session begins with a bird walk along the Thames Path from Chiswick Pier to Chiswick Eyot. At Chiswick Eyot we will go on to the foreshore where we will do river dipping. This is great fun and involves using nets and spotter sheets to catch and identify river creatures such as Crabs, Shrimps, and Eels.
Exploring with Eric the Eel: This 1.5 hour session will allow young children, aged 2-5 years to explore and experience the river through play, storytelling and hands-on activities.
Cost: These sessions are both free but must be booked in advance
