Theatre – ‘The Railway Children’ @ The National Railway Museum, York (to 5 Sept)

September 1, 2009toSeptember 5, 2009

The Railway Children is returning to platform 2 at The National Railway Museum from 23rd July.

One of the nation’s best loved novels truly comes to life using a unique theatre setting at the Museum. This magical production follows the journey of Bobby, Peter and Phyllis as they tell the story of how they became The Railway Children.  The audience sits on station platforms either side of a real train track, featuring the Stirling Single- a beautiful 60 tonne steam locomotive, it really is one of the most spectacular and breathtaking theatrical events.

Price £8 per person (or £9.50 if ordered on the day). Pre-order by calling 01904 686227.

Sizzling barbeque bites will be served in the NRM South Yard for pre-show evening performances only. Available one hour before the show starts.
