Living history weekend
If you’ve ever wondered what life was really like in the past, here’s your chance to find out. History will literally come to life during this action-packed weekend featuring a range of re-enactments from mediaeval banquets to Tudor jousts, a Victorian Country Fair and a celebration of the Battle of Waterloo!

The 500th anniversary of King Henry VIII’s coronation is also celebrated this year, and to mark this historic occasion, there will be a number of special events including a spectacular Tudor river pageant.
