The National Portrait Gallery has appointed picture book illustrator Tim Hopgood to produce drawings for special exhibition labels and a free family trail which will offer a range of activities from drawings to matching games.
In association with this, Tim Hopgood is headlining a couple of very exciting events:
Children’s Art Day: Moving Portraits
Saturday 17 July, 11.00 – 16.00
Join Tim Hopgood, and our team of animators for a fun day exploring portraits inspired by the works in this year’s exhibition. Drop-in activity. Suitable for children aged 5+ and their carers.
Exclusive Book Signing Event
Saturday 17 July, 13:00
Tim Hopgood will be signing copies of his books from 13.00. Please go to the Bookshop for this exclusive event.
And remember, The BP Portrait Award exhibition is still running from 24 June to 19 September 2010 at the National Portrait Gallery. Admission is free.
