Barney is a green London Bus from World War I.

Green is no colour for a proud London bus! But Barney’s on a very important mission and you can join him and his friend’s Beatrice Bus and Pippa the pigeon in the London Transport Museum on the 27th September.

Discover the importance of letters in the First World War, write and censor your own postcard and send it for real to a someone you know!
Find out how pigeons were used to send messages, and make your own secret code.
