Nothing quite matches the Tree-Athlon!

This is your opportunity to give something back to the environment this autumn while at the same time improving your health and making new friends.

This unique three-part event includes a fun 5km run, an opportunity to share your wish for the future of trees and even the chance to plant a sapling!  It’s also a chance to get together with like-minded people and have a great day out to raise money for tree planting projects in the UK and beyond.

The event takes place in London, Leeds and Manchester, so don’t be a sap… register now!

So whilst the sun is shining and the trees are budding so – get your running kit out, stretch those muscles and gather your mates and family for a big day out! Remember that by taking part in the Tree-Athlon, you will contribute to making London a better place with thousands more trees to enjoy for years to come.

Don’t panic, it’s not a marathon! Although every year we have top Tree-Athletes joining the crowd, this is about tree lovers coming together and running for trees. The popular 5KM run is open to everyone over the age of 14, and if you need a bit of help check out our training schedule. The selected route is flat and road based, ideal for beginners and experienced runners alike. You will run through beautiful Battersea Park, discovering the riverside promenade, Peace Pagoda, fountains, war memorial, lots of wildlife and unusual tree species on route. Guest celebrities will be on hand to take everyone through a warm-up as well as giving out prizes after the race.
Make your Tree Wish!

To celebrate the end of the race and thank you for your fundraising efforts, each runner will be given a native tree sapling to take home and plant, helping you to create your own green space and give something back to your local environment. Information on how to plant your sapling will be available on the day.
