Head to the Free Fringe Festival at The Scoop for the very best in live performances from the left-field.
The Merry Opera Company brings lashings of sunshine with its fresh and lively production of ‘Troy Boy’, Kit Hesketh Harvey’s translation of Offenbach’s ‘La Belle Helene’.
The action has been transported to suburban England where the beautiful Helen is well and truly fed up with her very boring husband.
So a trip to the local Greek restaurant and an encounter with the handsome waiter from Troy can only lead to trouble! In the blink of an eye they find themselves in Faliraki. And the rest, as they say, is history!
The Scoop at More London is an outdoor sunken amphitheatre with seating for 800. Throughout the summer months it regularly hosts a variety of free events – from free films, free music and free theatre to local community events and activities. The Scoop at More London is open to everyone.
