Waitrose will hold its Spring Food Festival (formerly The Leckford Festival) for three days in May, when visitors will be able to enjoy a host of exciting events including cooking demonstrations, farm tours and small producers stalls.
The estate covers more than 4,000 acres and includes a farm that produces arable crops, fruit, milk, mushrooms and much more. A large amount of this produce is sold in Waitrose branches around the country.
At this year’s Waitrose Spring Food Festival, guests can enjoy:
TV cook and food writer Katie Bishop will be cooking up a bit of excitement in the cookery zone. With the help of students from the Waitrose-sponsored Specialist Chefs Scholarship course, she’ll be on hand to show you plenty of simple recipe ideas and lead you through tastings and no-nonsense interviews with Waitrose buyers and suppliers.
Meet Waitrose suppliers; try their produce.
