This wekend, what better way to explore the city, meet new people and experience London on foot – it’s Walk London’s Spring into Summer walking weekend!
On Saturday 22 May and Sunday 23 May, there will be more than 50 free led-walks taking place all over London.
From just over 1 mile long to the 12 ½ mile long megawalk, there’s something to suit everyone.
- Learn about the history, heritage and culture of central London on the Jubilee Walkway and Jubilee Greenway
- Celebrate the scenery and open spaces along the LOOP, Lea Valley Walk, Green Chain Walk and Capital Ring
- Explore seafaring London along the Thames Path. Check on the progress of the Olympic Park and other venues by joining a special “Walking towards the Games” walks.
All the walks have been arranged to conveniently start and end close to public transport and will be interpreted by trained guides to show off all the great spaces, tourist attractions and places of natural beauty along the way.
