There’ll be magic in the woods as the Forestry Commission stage three Harry Potter inspired events in Nottinghamshire.
The Forestry Commission is running summer schools for apprentice wizards on the estate deep in three Nottinghamshire woods.
Inspired by the tales of Harry Potter, rangers will show youngsters how to make potions and wands and even introduce them to mythical creatures! Events take place from 10am at:
- Oxclose Wood, near Mansfield Woodhouse – 10 August
- Ollerton Pit Wood, Ollerton – 12 August
- Silverhill Wood, near Silverhill – 14 August
There’ll also be fancy dress, crafts and woodland walks.
